What dates do you have available?


To see which dates are available, please use our booking calendar. This calendar will show real-time availability for specific dates/times. If you have any further availability questions, please feel free to call our event team at 302-241-2183, or email us at greathall@salcdover.org.




Where are you located?


Our banquet hall is attached to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Dover, DE. The facility is located near the rear parking lot of the church grounds, where there is plentiful parking for you and your guests.




Can we see the hall beforehand?


Absolutely! Just inform our event team in advance that you would like to schedule some time to take a tour of the event space and we would be glad to show you around. We hope to see you soon, but we ask you kindly not to visit without an appointment.




Is outside catering permitted?


You bet! If you are bringing your own caterer, they must provide their insurance and Delaware Serv-Safe certification. We also have an on-site caterer available for use as well.




What is the maximum number of simultaneous events at the hall?


We currently schedule one event at a time at The Great Hall to provide the most personal attention possible to every one of our guests.




Do you offer an open bar?


Unfortunately due to Delaware state law, we are unable to provide an open bar. However, are able to serve beer and wine. Please reach out to our event team for more details on our alcohol policy.




Is the venue handicap accessible?


We want to make sure all of your guests can have the most amazing experience at The Great Hall; the entire venue is accessible.




How long can my event last?


We ask our guests to have an event no longer than the maximum four hours to allow time for walk throughs, cleaning, take downs, and set ups for future guests.
